MAZATLÁN.- Holy Week is about to begin, from Palm Sunday, April 2, to Easter Sunday, April 9, and on the occasion of those dates the Catholic Church prepares different activities.

In Semana Mayor, many families prepare to rest or travel with the intention of having fun, while others dedicate these days to reflect, attend spiritual retreats, cults, or religious ceremonies, as they are days about the life, death and resurrection of Christ.

The Bishop of the Diocese of Mazatlán, Mario Espinosa Contreras, invited people to leave their messy lives and selfishness and be more generous with their families, neighbors and the community in general.

“This Holy Week should be spent with the family, in the temples they are days of keeping on Holy days and the best way to do it and arrive free of sin, it is time to confess and be supportive,” he stressed.

Below, we present two calendars of activities for the Pascual Triduum of the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception and the Parish of Santa María del Mar.
