Mazatlán, Sin.- Next Friday, March 10, the call to belong to the Preventive Municipal Police closes, as an operational agent of the Mazatlán Public Security Secretariat.
Below we tell you what the requirements are, the documentation that you must present, where and when, and the benefits that the municipality offers when joining the ranks of the municipal police.
Profile
Be at least 18 years old and not more than 33, be of Mexican nationality, not have been convicted of an irrevocable sentence for an intentional crime or be subject to criminal proceedings, not be suspended or disqualified by a competent authority, height, without shoes, men 1.65 meter and women 1.60 meters.
Abstain from the illicit use of psychoactive substances, narcotics or others that produce similar effects, not suffer from alcoholism, and submit to periodic evaluations that are ruled to verify non-use of this type of substance.
Documentation
The original and two sets of copies of the required documentation must be submitted, which must be presented legibly and in good condition.
Personal birth certificate, birth certificate of their economic dependents, proof of address not older than three months, voter identification card, having accredited the National Military Service, CURP, marriage and/or divorce certificate.
Documents to prove properties and/or the place where you live (lease contract, property tax for the current year, letter of possession or similar document), payroll receipt for the last two weeks, proof of income of the spouse, cohabitant, institution account statement banking.
Valid driver’s license, invoice and circulation card of vehicles registered in the name of the applicant or of the people who live at the address, personal inquiry from the credit bureau, two letters of recommendation, letter of no criminal record, RFC or Evidence of Fiscal Situation, curriculum vitae.
The training will last six months, the applicant will receive semi-militarized police training at the Sinaloa State Police University (UNIPOL) in the city of Culiacán, they will receive a scholarship of five thousand pesos per month, necessary equipment, and material, lodging and free food.
Upon entering the police corporation, you will be able to receive benefits such as job stability, salary, bonus, life insurance, vacations, professional development opportunities, uniform, footwear and continue academical training, study scholarships for children of police officers by the SEP.
Documents reception
The documents will be received from Monday to Friday from nine in the morning to four in the afternoon at the facilities of the Police Professionalization Unit of the Secretary of Public Security, located on Antonio Toledo boulevard in the Colonia Huertos Familiares.
