COPIM promotes updating its real estate professionals in Mazatlan

About 100 members of the Council of Real Estate Professionals of Mexico arrive at the port from various cities to be part of the training.

Mazatlán, Sin.- Mazatlán, a destination that is currently experiencing great dynamism in the real estate sector, received around 100 professionals from this activity to participate in the II National Forum of the Council of Real Estate Professionals of Mexico (COPIM).

Magdalena Martínez Gastélum, national president of COPIM, highlighted that the participants came from Hermosillo, Mérida, Guadalajara, Mexicali, Mexico City, Culiacán and Los Mochis, and highlighted the importance of constant updating that guarantees a quality service.

“COPIM is made up of 9 associations from different states of the republic and through them we will continue adding efforts that highlight the importance of constant preparation and training, which meets the needs of a society that demands ever higher goals from us,” she said.

In her message, the leader of real estate professionals commented that at the end of 2022, the real estate sector in the country, despite the world events that have marked recent years, has managed to maintain stable growth.

She said that the Banco Inmobiliario de México points out three factors that are currently “hitting” the real estate industry: the increase in inputs for housing construction, which is 17 percent; the high inflation rates close to 8 percent; and the increase in the reference rate, which is already at 8.5 percent.

Among the special guests at the forum, was Ahuitzol López Apodaca, Undersecretary of Economic Development of the Ministry of Economy, who stressed that Mazatlán is having a great moment, which implies great commitments and great challenges in the real estate sector.

“And today more than ever, Mazatlán needs us to be formal, it needs us to be trained, and this type of forum helps and helps a lot so that the training among you is even much more professional and we take Mazatlán to a sale, as it is called, much more corporate, much more institutional, with a growth that we deserve”, she commented.

The state official recalled the figures announced by Javier Gaxiola Coppel, Secretary of Economy, which place Sinaloa in 9th place nationwide in attracting investment, with more than 866.9 million dollars of foreign investment in the last year.

In the forum, the conferences of Miguel Baigts were announced with the topic “The challenge of new generational sales, from analog to digital”; by José Antonio Manzanero with “Electronic notarial instruments”; Miguel Uribe with “The power of customer service” and Manuel Mier with “Proptech: Technology for the real estate professional”.
