MAZATLAN. – Do you want to get out of the routine now in Carnival? go to Durango and visit its most emblematic cabins, museums, and cinematographic areas, take advantage of the fact that it is two and a half hours away on the Mazatlán-Durango highway.

The director of Tourism of the city of Durango, Elvira Silerio Díaz, mentioned that they are in “La Perla del Pacífico” to promote their municipality and that people who seek to get away from the biggest party in the port know that they are waiting for them in the sister city.

“Mazatlán is saturated with so many people who come to visit them, they have another option two and a half hours away on a spectacular highway that we just traveled, and we did it safely, without mishap, they can reach Durango and spend the whole weekend enjoying the attractions of the area”, he declared.

What will they do?

Silerio Díaz pointed out that they will be installed in different points of Mazatlán such as the Aquarium, the Teodoro Mariscal stadium, hotel, and restaurant, but, above all, the tourist attractions to provide information about Durango.

In addition, they will attend with actors from the Paseo del Oeste who will encourage the Mazatlecos to take pictures and admire a little of what they do in that place that becomes your own movie studio.

“Durango is the land of cinema and many films have been carried out and this show is a reference and the differentiator of Durango, and we will promote it,” she commented.

Durango has different activities, such as visiting the cabins in Coscomate, Mexiquillo and other ecotourism spaces, as well as more than 9 museums, including Francisco Villa, the Mining Tunnel, the Museum of Funeral Art, tram rides and many more.
