The objective is to improve the image and road safety of the coastal walkway.

With a view to carrying out the Carnival 2023, the Public Works Directorate began the work of painting yellow and white lines on the coastal walk, from Valentinos to Olas Altas.

Rigoberto Arámburo Bojórquez, head of the area, reported that crews from his office paint 28,000 linear meters of continuous traffic yellow line and 14,000 linear meters of discontinuous white line.

He added that these works, in addition to improving the image of the coastal promenade, also contribute to improving road safety and mobility on the boardwalk, which is one of the main arteries of the city, and the most visited by national and foreign tourists, especially on special dates, such as the upcoming Carnival.
