Executives from the Florida and Caribbean Cruise Association made an inspection visit from the docks to the Convention Center

Mazatlán, Sin.- The Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) has confirmed Mazatlán as the venue for its annual event this 2023, where representatives of the most important shipping companies in the world will meet.

Through his social networks, the association even announced the dates for the meeting, taking into account that from November 6 to 10 it will be held in Mazatlan.

On Tuesday, the directors of the FCCA made a tour in this city, with the purpose of knowing the technical data for the next annual convention that Mazatlán will host.

The FCCA’s Vice President of Operations, Terry Cannici and the Director of Strategic Programs and Members, Mario Aguirre, officials from the Ministry of Tourism and Sedectur participated in this first inspection visit.

The director of the shipping group, Mario Aguirre, said he was impressed by his visit to Mazatlán.

“The reality is that you can walk very calmly through Mazatlán,” he said during the inspection they carried out at the fiscal docks, where two tourist cruise ships were docked.

The FCCA official stated that everything they saw, such as the landscape and gastronomy, was exceptional.

The head of the Sectur, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, said that tours were made of the Convention Center, hotels, API piers and places of tourist attraction.

“These people are very detailed oriented and they left very satisfied, they even made excellent statements about what they saw, which gives us great confidence that they come with everything to this event and it will help the economy and tourism in all of Sinaloa,” he said. .

He added that the convention is of great importance for Sinaloa, not only for Mazatlán, because the intention is to push for cruise ships in Topolobampo, which would create a tourist and economic corridor from the north to the south of Sinaloa.
