They got their truck stolen during the early hours of this Monday on the highway
Escuinapa, Sin.- A family of “countrymen” was left without the possibility of returning to their home after being a victim of crime in the municipality of Escuinapa.
The family made up of five people suffered the seizure of their truck during the early hours of this Monday on the Tepic-Mazatlán highway, in the limits of Sinaloa.
According to the information collected, the event was around 01:45 hours, in which it was reported that a truck was stolen from a family.
The event occurred on a street in the section between the Palmillas and La Concha. A 2022 model gray Dodge RAM truck was stolen.
After being dispossessed, the people affected were abandoned by the same criminals at the junction of the highway and the Mexico 15 federal highway, ahead of Tecualilla, where they requested support.
No further details were provided about the criminals or those affected, who did not present injuries, only scare for having lost the vehicle in which they were traveling, in addition to all their belongings.
The corresponding authorities have already begun investigations
The family of countrymen had left Tepic bound for their home in the United States, but their trip was interrupted by this situation.
After the incident, they reported the fact to the authorities and are currently waiting for what they are told in the follow-up of the investigations.
