MAZATLAN. – This weekend is already Christmas and Mazatlan, especially the tourism sector, will have a good Christmas Eve and a Merry Christmas with the arrival of cruise ships this weekend, which will bring good economic benefits to the destination.
According to the Integral Port Administration, through its social networks, it announced that there will be two ships that are arriving in Mazatlán; the first of them, this December 24, from the Princess Cruise Line, known as Discovery Princess.
The second, in full December 25, at Christmas, will arrive the Koningsdam, from the Holland America Cruise line. Each one with more than 3,000 passengers on board, who enter the navigation channel from approximately 7:00 a.m.
Counting these two ships, there would already be 14 cruise ships that have arrived this month in Mazatlán, hoping that in the last week of the month and also in 2022, 5 cruise ships will arrive, from 1 to 2 cruise ships per day.
On Monday, December 26, the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line Navigator will arrive; Two ships will arrive on December 27, Carnival Cruise Line’s Panorama and Norwegian Joy; The Norwegian Jewel will arrive on December 28, and the Carnival Cruise Line’s Celebrety Solstice will arrive on December 29.
It was from the second semester of this 2022 that an increase in the arrival of cruise ships was reported, especially in the last three months of the year, from 4 arrivals that were reported in July, it increased to 5 in the months of August and September, to later increase to 14 in October and 19 in both November and December.
