2.6 million pesos stolen at gunpoint from a person when leaving a bank in Mazatlán, Sinaloa

A million-peso coup was registered this Tuesday, November 29, around noon in the port of Mazatlán, Sinaloa; where the criminals granted themselves a “Christmas Bonus” and took a booty of 2 million 600 thousand pesos.

According to the information, the assault occurred around 2:00 p.m. when an account holder, an employee of a company, was leaving a Santander bank with the money in cash.

The worker had withdrawn the amount of 2.6 million pesos when at the traffic light on Gabriel Leyva street he was intercepted by several criminals who were moving in a silver car and a motorcycle.

They stripped him of his money at gunpoint and fled to the Jesús García neighborhood.

The assailants carried squad-type pistols and fled without being arrested.
