Find out from demonstrations, calculations, and even coronations of the Mazatlan International Carnival 2023

MAZATLAN. – Ready for the party? The International Carnival of Mazatlán 2023 “Dejavú, Dreams of a Carnival” is about to start with its carnival festivities and if you do not want to miss any, we invite you to read the following information with all the details of the activities that surround our maximum party.  

December 

The activities begin this coming December 9 with the first demonstration and counting of the candidates for Carnival royalty.  

The demonstration will start on Francisco Solís avenue at 4:40 p.m. and will end in the square of the Francisco Villa neighborhood, where the first vote count of the candidates for kings of Carvanal and the candidates for Reinita will take place. Childish.  

January 

This month, the agenda is a little heavier, on January 13 the candidates will go out to Valentino’s to deliver decals to tourists and to people who circulate with their cars.  

The second demonstration will be on January 20 and will begin at Acuario Mazatlán at 4:00 p.m. and end at Plazuela República.  

On January 27, at 5:00 p.m., the second and last count will be held in Plazuela República, which will reveal who will be the new King of Carnival, Children’s Queen and Queen of Poetry; finally, for January 28 is the long-awaited election of queens at the Ángela Peralta Theater at 7:00 p.m.  

February 

Now yes, comes the cool. On February 10, the classic Carvanal Fair will open, which will be located at Sam’s; The next day, the Ángela Peralta Theater will be decked out with the evening of the arts, a show that will take place at 8:00 p.m. sharp.  

On February 16 and 17 will be the coronation of the King of Carnival and the Queen of the Floral Games, respectively, events that will take place inside the Teodoro Mariscal stadiums, at 8:30 p.m.  

The coronation of the Carnival Queen is on February 18, at 6:30 p.m., and at 11:00 p.m. the popular Bad Humor Burning and Naval Combat will take place.  

On February 20 will be the coronation of the Children’s Queen at the Teodoro Mariscal stadium, at 6:30 p.m.  

The parades 

On the 19th will be the first Carnival parade and it will start on Avenida del Mar at 5:00 p.m. and the second parade will be on Tuesday 21 at 4:00 p.m.
