Mazatlan Sinaloa. – Attached to the “Free Sidewalks” campaign of the Municipal DIF, the removal of vehicles that remained on Circunvalación avenue in the Estero neighborhood was carried out this Saturday.

During the actions, in which the Secretary of Public Security and Municipal Transit participated, in coordination with the Mayor’s Office, the Sub-directorate of Commerce, Civil Protection and Ecology, several abandoned vehicles were verified that were in the area, which with the support of cranes were taken to the municipal pension where the owners with the corresponding documentation will carry out the claim procedures and pay fines to be able to withdraw them.

In total there were seven units of various models and brands that were towed, in addition, the Ecology visit was made to raise awareness among the owners of the workshops to keep the fronts of their premises free of garbage and objects that pollute the environment.

The operation was instructed by the Mayor, Edgar González Zatarain, based on a petition from the public in order to recover spaces to circulate freely in the area.
