New Mazatlan Mayor will deal with Mega speed bumps and other inefficient infrastructure

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The mayor of Mazatlán, Édgar Augusto González Zatarain, reported that this week he will be meeting with businessmen from the tourism sector to agree on urban infrastructure issues in what is Avenida Del Mar and Zona Dorada

After being questioned about the spectacular accident on Sunday due to the mega bumpers that are in front of a well-known hotel, González Zatarain commented that they will seek dialogue and not make decisions that bother businessmen, in order to know what is most convenient for the Vehicular flow.

“There is a meeting with businessmen, and we are going to touch on everything that has to do with the infrastructure of the Golden Zone and the Malecón; We will see the issue of returns where there are some pots there, we are going to deal with all those issues how we throw a lot at the problems, ”he commented.

The municipal president also announced that they will be dealing with public safety in the area, as well as reaching agreements for the adoption of ridges and beautifying them, all in conjunction with tourism entrepreneurs.

González Zatarain stated that he will no longer be supporting the old project of Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres to install mega speed bumps in different parts of the city, which is why he emphasized the importance of sitting down with businessmen to reach agreements.
