Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The mayor of Mazatlán, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, must leave any public office and face the criminal complaint filed by the Superior State Audit Office against him, assured Sergio Félix Torres.
The president of the Movimiento Ciudadano party criticized the alleged announcement made by Governor Rubén Rocha Moya to incorporate the ” Chemist ” into the state tourism area, accused by the ASE of corruption in the management of public resources of the Mazatlán City Council.
He pointed out that this protection proves that Morena governments use the cabinet to protect the people of their party and cause corruption and impunity to grow in Sinaloa.
“What has done so much damage to the country is impunity and from the Citizen Movement we see that corruption is being encouraged from the state government,” he said.
He commented that the governments of Morena in Sinaloa do not review profiles, since they do not care about giving results to Sinaloans.
“He protects the Chemist despite the complaints against him, he takes him to a secretariat when the only thing he has shown as an official is ineptitude and ‘ gandallism‘, that what matters least to him is the development and tourist promotion of the state and of Mazatlan ”, he said.
Torres Félix pointed out that it is enough to ask Mazatlan tourism developers how the municipal president “ vaccinated ” them in order to grant them construction permits .
“Now he joins him with Fernando Pucheta in the cabinet when the only thing that matters to them is doing business with the public budget, for their benefit, ” he said.

The MC leader believes that justice should be equal for all, that the governor let the “Chemist” face the lawsuits against him like any citizen, not with the protective mantle of his government.
At Movimiento Ciudadano we know that there are obvious acts of corruption and that those who are identified as rogues should not be protected.
