Mazatlan conquers the Northern Economic Corridor and the Bajío

The leader of the Tres Islas Hotel Association says that the destination is among the top five sun and beach tourist destinations in the country.

MAZATLÁN.- Mazatlán had a great call in the promotion of travel agents from the Bajío and states of the Economic Corridor of the North of Mexico, an event that took place from October 17 to 21, by the Association of Hotels Three Islands, and the support of the Ministry of Tourism in Sinaloa. 

The event not only aroused interest but also conquered those present and left the opportunity to continue betting on the destination as the best option for sun and beach, said José Ramón Manguart Sánchez, president of the Tres Islas Hotel Association. 

He commented that during the meetings that were held in different cities, it served to promote Mazatlán as a brand and a destination that continues to be visited by many of the national market, representing 98 percent of visitors on vacations and long weekends.  

“Zacatecas and Aguascalientes is where, even, we had higher attendance than confirmed; It is an important element to see the great interest that people have in coming to Mazatlan, and, above all, travel agents as great allies, so that the results that we have today help us to be among the five destinations to preferred national level where to travel”; she expressed.  

He said that after an evaluation of said campaign, which included the states of Durango, Chihuahua, Zacatecas, Querétaro, and Nayarit, he left them very happy with the great turnout they had on these trips that help promote the destination. 

He added that these actions, as well as the promotional cooperatives with the OTAs, are great actions towards national tourism, of which they are totally grateful for their preference and loyalty. 

He said that now it remains to continue working hand in hand with Sectur to place the best brand.
