The Mazatlán Cultural Festival 2022 offers an amalgamation between the plastic arts and singing

Mazatlán, Sin.- At the beginning of the third weekend of its realization, the Mazatlán Cultural Festival became colorful and daring with an inauguration of an exhibition of plastic arts, as well as a daring musical concert to the rhythm of tango.

“The excellent is eternal” is the title of a painting exhibition with which members of the Andart Group paid tribute to Master Armando Nava, who was a great promoter of art, widely recognized for the quantity and quality of his portraits, where he painted to personalities from the artistic world, politics, as well as characters from Buenos Aires.

More than 30 paintings made in different techniques ranging from portraits, landscapes, abstract art, among other images, are part of the expressions that will be in the exhibition until November 20.

José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, general director of the Municipal Institute of Culture, Tourism and Art of Mazatlan, was in charge of inaugurating the collective work and thanked the participants for the joint work with the organization he represents.

In his message, he assured that the Institute offers its support to all artists with the opening of free spaces that promote art, this by instruction of the Chemical Mayor Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres.

Simultaneously at Casa Haas, the Ángela Peralta Choir directed by Maestra María Murillo, gave a memorable recital made up of classic pieces in the evening “Tango que fueste y seras”.

Different soloists performed songs such as “Volver”, “El día que me tú”, “Los marados”, “Nostalgias”, “A media luz”, and others from the classical repertoire, where they put the duet of dancers to dance on stage. “Tango Amor”, which gave a plus to the sensational concert.
