The president of the Tres Islas Hotel Association indicated that they seek to balance the balance that is charged to the highway issue.

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- In order to balance the balance between road and air tourism, the creation of a flight committee will be proposed, revealed the president of the Tres Islas Hotel Association, José Ramón Manguart Sánchez.

He stated that currently 98 percent of the tourists who visit the destination are national and only 2 percent are international, which means that there is an area of opportunity in connectivity, which is where efforts have to be focused .

“For that we are proposing the creation of a flight committee that at the time allows participating in the decision-making of which destinations at the international and national level should be focused on connectivity efforts, precisely to be able to balance the balance, because right now it is heavily loaded on the highway issue,” he said.

Manguart Sánchez commented that this proposal seeks the participation of representatives of the sector, the airport, the Ministry of Tourism and the City Council .

He pointed out that work must continue on the issue of promotion and security, that although violent events have occurred, in general terms fate has been calm.

“We hope that this is sustained precisely to generate guarantees and at the time people choose to come to Mazatlan, no tourist, whether national or international, will want to travel to a destination where they feel vulnerable, ” he said.
