Madrid, Spain.- Luis Carrillo Lostao, a Spanish investor who is betting on Mazatlán with the Aerospace Park, received at the La Macha Aerodrome the Secretary of Economic Development, Tourism and Fisheries of Mazatlán, Ricardo Velarde Cárdenas, who attended this space in representation of the Mayor, Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres, to hear from the investor the operation and the economic repercussion that it will bring to Mazatlan, which, next December, will be inaugurated its first stage.

“There are only two of these developments in the United States, Mazatlan being the third and largest in the entire continent, something totally unique in Mexico and Mazatlan,” said Carrillo Lostao.

The planes that will be manufactured in this aerospace development will be the largest in the world at the civil level, which will be handled by a drone with a pilot on the ground.

Carrillo Lastao added that the Mazatlan park will allow industries in the aerospace sector, and of all kinds, to have a park with approximately 7,000 highly qualified people.

“That is why, previously with the Mayor, and with the universities and deans of universities, we had a meeting and asked them if in a few years they would have the capacity to produce this type of personnel trained with this technology, their answer was we are not capable, since we are doing them today”, he concluded.
