The Secretary of Public Security explained that in the event that any element is positive in the anti-doping test, the Internal Control Body and the Secretary of the City Council will analyze and determine how to proceed with them.

Mazatlan. – As a requirement for the renewal of the collective weapons license, personnel from the Ministry of Public Security and Municipal Traffic presented the anti-doping test.

Commissioner Simón Malpica Hernández, head of the SSPyTM, mentioned that from Tuesday to Thursday, the agents were unexpectedly called to the facilities of the Citizen Security Center where C3 personnel, dependent on the State Secretariat of Public Security, applied the test.

“95% of the elements have already passed the test; those who are missing, after they finish their work, will come to conclude with their exam. This is due to the fact that every year we renew the collective license to carry a weapon, it is a requirement that we have to do”.

The Secretary of Public Security explained that in the event that any element is positive in the anti-doping test, the Internal Control Body and the Secretary of the City Council will analyze and determine how to proceed with them.

He added that in previous administrations there has been the removal of elements for testing positive.
