With this new acquisition, the worthy institution has a vehicle fleet of 10 units with which they cover 85% of pre-hospital emergencies in the port.

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- In the presence of municipal authorities, Cruz Roja Mazatlán Mazatlán Delegation received two ambulances, which come to join the vehicle fleet that the worthy institution has, with the aim of providing citizens with a better service.

Recognizing that Mazatlán is growing more and more, they considered that it was necessary to adapt to that growth and provide quality care.

María Teresa Gallo de Gil, president of the Administrative Council of the Red Cross, mentioned that the units were financed with the annual collection that was made.

“Well, today is a party here for the Red Cross because it is not easy to have two new vehicles, everyone who is here knows the work, how useful it is to have new ambulances, how necessary it is, if I told you how we run out of ambulances quickly, because it’s all the time to be active, ” she said.

The units were purchased with the proceeds of the annual collection.

With this new acquisition, the institution has 10 ambulances and one rescue, with which 85% of pre-hospital emergencies in the port are covered.

The ambulances are of the latest generation, each one cost one million 600 thousand pesos, but without equipment.
