Getting a U.S visa in Mazatlan could be a reality

Mazatlan, Sinaloa. – After the recent visit of the United States ambassador, Kent Salazar, and the Consul in Hermosillo, Ken Roy, to Mazatlán, among other matters of importance for Sinaloa, Rubén Rocha Moya, Governor of Sinaloa, mentioned that the possibility of having a consulate for visa processing at the port.

The Municipal President of Mazatlán, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres commented that in reference to the issue of having a consulate, this will be an issue that he will discuss with the ambassador, since during his visit to the port, he had good chemistry, so much so that the ambassador He said he would return to Mazatlan soon.

“All Mazatlans want that topic, hopefully the next time I have to talk with him, we will officially request it, we will be delighted that it was here,” declared the mayor.

The mayor added that with the visit of the ambassador he sends a positive message to the country and that he went out to take a photo in Mazatlan, showing that it is a safe place.

To conclude, Benítez Torres explained that, although he did not attend the meeting with the ambassador and the consul because it was a state competition, he did have a coincidental meeting at the airport with the ambassador, since he was ready to leave and receive an award from the Association of Mayors of Mexico in Mexico City.
