Mazatlán, SINALOA.-In Ordinary Session number 21, Councilors of the Cabildo in full approved the initiative of the creation of the Municipal Coordination of Attention to the LGBTTTIQA+ Population, which will be part of the centralized organizational structure of the Municipal Public Administration, which will depend of the Secretary of the Presidency.

Once the creation of the Municipal Coordination for Attention to the LGBTTTIQA+ Population has been authorized, the corresponding Official Decree will be published in the Official Newspaper of the State of Sinaloa so that it can take legal effect and come into force on the day following its publication.

During the meeting, the call for the Mazatlan Youth Merit Award 2022 was also announced, which includes 6 categories and is aimed at the student community at secondary, upper secondary, higher or technological, public, private and educational levels. youth in general. Proposals will be received at the facilities of the Municipal Youth Institute until September 30 of the current year.

Finally, six opinions were approved, which were for occupational retirement or advanced age, pension for early retirement and pension for advanced age of workers in the area of ​​Public Services, Medical Services, the Ministry of Public Security and the Municipal Traffic Department.

The 21st Ordinary Session was led by the Secretary of the City Council, Edgar Augusto González Zatarain, representing the Mayor, Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres, the Attorney General, Claudia Magdalena Cárdenas Díaz, and the Senior Official, Nayla Adilene Velarde Narváez.
