Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Parents of the “Bertha Von Glumer ” Children’s Garden, located in the Tierra y Libertad neighborhood, took the avenues Ejército Mexicano and Río Grijalva in both directions, in Mazatlán, demanding that immediate attention be given to the campus that is closed due to structural damage.

The demonstrators who stationed themselves on both roads around 8:20 a.m. this day, pointed out that due to instructions from Civil Protection, the kindergarten was ordered to be closed due to damage to one of the fences, caused, according to the old and abandoned Issste store, located next to the campus.

The kindergarten, which is located on Río Humaya street, serves around 80 children who, for their safety, must take their classes online.

Jorge Samuel Alvarado Illustrious, deputy director of the Municipal Traffic Police, assured that he and some of his elements are in place to avoid any type of accident that may be caused by the demonstration.
