Sinaloa.- Given the heavy rains recorded in the last hour in Sinaloa and in follow-up to the Civil Protection protocols, the students are sheltered on campus, reported the Ministry of Public Education.

At the same time, Governor Rubén Rocha Moya confirmed the suspension of classes in all the municipalities of Sinaloa, in the evening shift, since the conditions could be risky for the student population, teachers and parents.

For now, it will be assessed if classes are suspended on Wednesday, and everything will be defined as the weather is marked since the potential for rainfall is still active to have accumulated from 75 to 150 millimeters in the following two days.

The rain forecast remains high, and it is expected that Wednesday, August 31, will be even riskier for the record of intense punctual rainfall, which will tend to generalize throughout the state.

These conditions stem from the Mexican monsoon, which interacts with low pressure channels and al. moment, with a low-pressure system that could activate in the next few hours the tenth tropical cyclone of the season that would be called “Javier”.

The National Meteorological Service determined that the first seven days of September will be of an important climatic movement, since there is an urgent possibility that another system will be activated between September 4 and 5 and will be called “Kay”, which could go on the Pacific coastline, and with risk of impact between Colima, Nayarit and Sinaloa.
