In Mazatlán, eight minors from Torreón, Durango and Guadalajara are saved from drowning

The rescues were carried out in Playa Norte 6, Sábalo 1 beach and Isla de la Piedra.

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- During the course of this Saturday, elements of the Aquatic Rescue Squad managed to save eight bathers who in different beach areas had difficulty getting out of the sea.

RESCUE

In the North 6 beach area, in front of the “old insurance” Isidro (53) and Janeth (33) “N”, originally from Guadalajara, were taken to the mainland after the assigned agent noticed that they were being dragged by a current, so it entered the sea to provide them with support and give them buoyancy.

At Sábalo 1 beach, two children who were swept away by the sea were also treated on time. The children under 8 and 10 years of age, from Durango, were returned to their relatives once they were safe.

In the Cerritos 1 area, Fernando “N”, 40, and his 14 and 10-year-old daughters, from Torreón, Coahuila, managed to be saved thanks to the protocol in which municipal lifeguards and the area hotel participated.

Finally, on Isla de la Piedra, a young man who asked for help to get out of the sea, was rescued and returned to his relatives, who thanked the 14-year-old for the care provided, also from Torreón, Coahuila.
