Municipal Government and maritime authorities are detailing the strategies for the security program that they will implement from July 22 to August 15, to safeguard locals and tourists.
Mazatlan Sinaloa. – To safeguard the integrity of locals and tourists as part of the actions of the Safe Summer plan, the Municipal Government, through the Ministry of Public Security and Municipal Traffic, met this Monday with maritime authorities in the region.
Eloy Ruiz Gastélum, Coordinator of Civil Protection, said that in the search to have a white balance in the period from July 22 to August 15, the Municipality has already defined the strategy that it will implement in the areas where walkers go.
“Our operations plan is strategically designed to care for all tourists and people who are going to visit us in the different beach areas in the municipality, taking into account the resorts and points of interest,” he said.
He said that security and biosecurity conditions will be established with a special focus on the tourist area, taking advantage of the coordination between the authorities of the three levels of government, to extend these conditions to the entire municipality.
In addition, he pointed out that the execution of said plan contemplates the deployment in the area of operations of the units with specific tasks, with personnel and vehicles that facilitate police and security actions during the vacation period.
Personnel from the Fourth Naval Zone presented in detail the deployment of the Marine Plan and the actions that they will carry out in coordination with the Municipality, while the Port Authority analyzed the aspects that tourist service providers on the beaches must comply with.
