At the Mazatlan docks, Civil Protection personnel and aid bodies provided help to the 36 passengers and fifteen crew members who remained adrift for more than four hours.

Tourists, among them three minors and crew members of a catamaran who for more than four hours remained adrift due to an engine failure on the coast of Mazatlán were rescued by elements of the Fourth Naval Zone and transferred to land, where they received medical assistance.  



According to the known report, last Monday night it was reported that 36 passengers and fifteen crew members of a tourist boat from the port had not returned to the port, after taking a walk along the coast, so their search began. 

Elements of the Fourth Naval Zone on board a boat and on a Jet Ski, They went out to look for them, until they were located and transferred to land, where they were hydrated and treated by medical personnel to check their health status. 

Affected tourists

The data that was released establishes that the tourists, some of them foreigners, traveled with three children on the catamaran tour, without requiring them to be sent to a hospital, after being checked by doctors at the pier.
