María Elena Arias, director of Tourism Innovation and Quality of Sectur Sinaloa, considered this document memorable and with which she joins the projects of the Ministry of Tourism to increase competitiveness in the sector, since this implies a large investment in the facilities. of the hotel located in front of the beach and in staff training, among other actions.

Playa Platino places Sinaloa as the fourth-best evaluated and recognized state for the cleanliness and protection of the ecosystem in the section of Playa Gaviotas, preceded by Yucatan, Quintana Roo and Baja California Sur.   

The certificate was received by Jorge Aceves and Perla Gómez Moraila, deputy director and general manager of Hotel Holiday Inn, respectively, accompanied by Sergio Pelayo, member of the Association of Hotels and Tourist Companies of Mazatlán and María Elena Arias Gámez, representing the Secretary of Tourism of Sinaloa, Rosario Torres Noriega.

When delivering the badge on behalf of the president of Mazatlán, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, the councilor Bernardo Alcaraz Conde, asked the representatives of the tourism sector to continue advancing because there are other “heavier” certifications that will put the destination at the height of the tourist more demanding.
