If the proposal materializes, next August 17, National Bee Day, other expos will be held in other municipalities
Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- A great success the Beekeeping Expo 2022 that May 20 and 21 took place in the Plazuela September 27, Los Mochis, where producers of honey and derivatives of beehives were commemorating the World Day of the Bee.
Julián Alfonso García Hernández, from Sader’s National Institute of Forestry, Agricultural and Livestock Research, told Línea Directa that the event left such a good taste in the mouth that beekeepers have proposed replicating the expo on National Bee Day, that is, next August.
“Now next August 17, which is coming, is the national day for us, here in Mexico, National Bee Day and we plan to replicate this type of event in more municipalities. Repeat again in Ahome, with this experience we had; replicate it also in Culiacán and Mazatlán that same day, ”explained the federal official.
In this first edition, 13 stands of beekeepers from northern Sinaloa participated, who had the opportunity to exhibit and market their products.
This Saturday was the best day due to the number of families that gathered at Plazuela 27 de Septiembre taking advantage of this great event.
