Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- The painting that covers part of the Olivera Carp, for the moment, is due to the images of cinematographic filming, but in reality, it will have another color and marine paint, which contemplates part of the improvement project that will be carried out at this site, which is on a forced march by June 1 at the latest, declared Luis Gerardo Núñez Gutiérrez.

The director of Public Works in a meeting with partners and members of the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry in Mazatlán, this Friday, explained that this pool, one of seven of its kind worldwide, is located is in the port, it will have the improvement from the first world bathrooms, as well as to adapt it to protect bathers when entering.

“The concept is going to change to a large extent, they are going to put some railings on the tent, because many people bathed in a swell, thinking that there is safety, and in a wave they can float it and take it out, that railing is going to be for do not leave, or someone leaves, it will be stainless, adding that the color that it has right now required it for a movie that is being filmed today, these colors are not to my liking, I bring another idea”.

He emphasized that the works are part of a project to improve this main icon of the port and that they estimate it could be reopened by the Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Torruco Marqués, who could be at the beginning of next June.

Núñez Gutiérrez said that the amount of the investment for these works is still not clear, since they include the installation of pumps, painting, and structures.
