The president of Canirac announced that they are working with the City Council on the elaboration of a plan that improves vehicular traffic, garbage collection, and noise regulation.

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- With the positioning that Mazatlan has achieved at the national level in the tourism industry, it has already been possible to attract visitors with greater purchasing power, now they need to be preserved, and the urgent thing is to have a better order in the city, assured Rodrigo Becerra Rodríguez, president of the National Chamber of the Restaurant Industry.

He announced that several meetings have already been held with the authorities of the municipality and that a joint action plan is being put together, among which guidelines such as improving vehicular traffic, garbage collection, regulating noise, and making the hours of operation more efficient providers, among other things.

“The way in which tourism is going to be preserved in the port is with the ordering of the beaches, vehicular traffic, things that can scare away tourism, the roads themselves, the garbage, all these issues are the ones that rush us the most in Mazatlan “, he said.

TEACHER’S DAY

The restaurant owner recognized that the month of May has been a good month for the Mazatlan restaurant sector since the different celebrations have kept sales above 80%.

For Mother’s Day, prepared food establishments had 100% occupancy; and on Teacher’s Day, they were at 80%.

For these reasons, they trust that this good streak will continue until the summer vacation period.

“On these dates, when mothers, teachers, and students are celebrated, diners arrive in groups, and different packages and promotions are launched for them. Now we have to keep working for the summer”, he concluded.
