Benítez Torres stressed that in the history of the port there had been no talk of working on such innovative projects

Mazatlan, Sinaloa. – The construction of the project that had already been announced since last 2020 could be resumed soon, because it will be one of the newest tourist attractions in the port.

This was communicated by the mayor of Mazatlán, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, who recalled that since the last year of the administration of the former governor, Quirino Ordaz Coppel, there were already construction plans for the installation of a cable car and a zip line, which presumably could descend from the Lighthouse.

“It had been announced since the last year of former Governor Quirino, but in the end it did not materialize and that possibility remained latent and it goes again, and the zip line comes to the side; two different things, one for those who like strong emotions and one for less strong ones”, he commented.

The official also stated that projects like these have a direct impact on tourism and even on the inhabitants of the port, since in the history of Mazatlan there had been no talk of having a cable car and a zip line.
