The arrest of an alleged operator from the state of Morelos within luxury condominiums of the Marina Mazatlán takes the municipal police authorities by surprise.
Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The special operation of the Attorney General of the Republic and the Navy of Mexico arrested a leader of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG) in Mazatlán, took the municipal authorities by surprise, who did not know until the Federal Government made it known.
In the special operation, the leader of the criminal group “Los Colombianos”, Francisco Javier Rodríguez, who is accused of being the main generator of violence in the state of Morelos and the metropolitan area, was arrested.
The Mexican Navy reported that the “Señorón”, “XL” or “Señorita”, as Francisco Javier Rodríguez is known, belongs to a cell of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), who had a presence in the southern, eastern, of Morelos, as well as in the metropolitan area.
With an arrest warrant, the elements broke into a condominium called “Residencial Pacifica”, in the city of Mazatlan, and without resisting, he was transferred to Mexico City to hand him over to the Federal Public Ministry.
Mazatlan municipal Public Security sources reported that they were not informed of the events until the federal government made it known through a press release.
They indicated that these operations are special, they do not inform anyone, neither the Secretary of Public Security nor the mayor when they arrive in the city and go to their objective, and once the mission is accomplished, they leave in special aircraft.
The residential complex where the alleged leader of the CJNG was staying is located by the Marina Mazatlán and is a luxury condominium residence. The sources said they did not know if this person had been staying in this place for days or was vacationing with his family. Only he didn’t put up a fight and no shot was fired.
