MAZATLAN. – The Sinaloa Institute of Culture, through the Delegation in the southern part of the state, in conjunction with four schools of the Sinaloa State High School College (Cobaes), began the first Cultural Day 2022 that took place at the Sinaloa Center of Community Development (Cedecom) of the Francisco I. Madero neighborhood, located in Plan de Guadalupe, corner with Gustavo A. Madero.
Miguel Ángel Jardines, delegate of the Sinaloense Cultural Institute (ISIC), announced that it began in said neighborhood because the place is a marginalized area, an area where the rates of violence are high because it is in the so-called tolerance zone. .
“There is a lot of drug addiction, a lot of traffic, etc., and we cannot miss the opportunity to promote, through sports, culture, an entire program that allows young people, boys, girls and women, to use their time to think better. things and do things that benefit them and the community,” said Miguel Jardines.
He commented that it is estimated to carry out this type of conference every two months in conjunction with Cobaes, although in said academic institution they do not stop, he added, since there are many groups inside, but now they are looking to take them to other people.
On the other hand, Yadira Osuna, coordinator of Zone 05 of Cobaes, pointed out that during this first event the campuses 38, 35, 95 and 41 of Rosario were participating, with groups of students who participate in culture, art and sports.
“It is the right time after returning from a pandemic, to carry out these types of events in the corners of the city, it is important that young people participate in painting or music workshops, participating is strengthening communities,” he said. .
The event started sharply at 9:00 in the morning and will end this Wednesday around 5:00 p.m.; Photography workshops, dance, karate shows, circus exhibition, musical groups, painting workshops, motivational talks, among other things, are held.
Permanent risk space modules for women were also placed on the site, for a greener city, safe cycling mobility, model exhibition and history of fishing in Sinaloa.
