At the state level, the municipality decreases in cases and is tied with Ahome in third position against this virus

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- According to the platform, in Mazatlán there are two recovered cases of COVID-19 and one new infected; Fortunately, there were no deaths in the last 24 hours. 

According to the municipality’s report, this Wednesday the active cases in Mazatlán have decreased to 12 (-1), which places it in third place in a tie with Ahome, after Culiacán, which is in first place with 38 and in second Guasave place with 14 active cases.

The COVID thermometer decreases and stands at 1.1 COVID degrees, 5.4 points less than the previous year, in which it was 5 degrees, maintaining the green color for 44 consecutive days, which means a 99% reduction in the incidence of new cases since dell February 24 of this year to date.

Until this Wednesday, a new historical minimum was presented in the COVID thermometer, which is the lowest level since the start of the pandemic. Both in active cases and in the moving average of new cases, it is at levels below those presented in these two years of the pandemic.

However, as it has done throughout this time of the pandemic, the municipal government reiterates the call to Mazatlecos, as well as tourists, to respect and follow the health protocols in force in the municipality to avoid further increases in cases of COVID-19.
