There are three arrivals expected for this Wednesday in Mazatlan, the Discovery Princess, the Norwegian Blis, and the Carnival Panorama.

MAZATLAN.- If you were only waiting for road tourism for the Easter holiday period, then no, more than 15,000 cruise passengers, including crew members and passengers, will tour the famous “Pearl of the Pacific.”

The first of them, which arrived at 6:30 a.m., was the Norwegian Bliss, from Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, with 3,195 passengers and 1,588 crew members. She will continue her course to Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, at 6:00 p.m.

The second, which is also at the dock, is the Discovery Princess, which will arrive in Mazatlan for the second time, with 3,264 passengers and 1,334 crew members.

It entered the pier at 7:30 a.m., coming from Cao San Lucas, Baja California Sur, and will continue its journey through the Pacific Ocean at 6:00 p.m. heading for Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.

The third tourist ship is the Carnival Panorama with 4,856 passengers and 1,297 crew members. She will arrive at 9:00 a.m. from Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, and will continue at 6:00 p.m. with the same destination as the previous cruise.

According to the Ministry of Tourism, these arrivals will cause an intense commercial tourist activity in the different sectors of the sector, both in the local area and in the southern zone, as well as in other places such as Copala and the head of the municipality of Concordia, as well as syndicates of the Mazatlan itself as La Noria, Isla de la Piedra, among others.

Let us remember that it has been the same Comprehensive Port Administration that has reported that spending per cruise passenger has been increased, that is, from 60 dollars that they spent just in 2021 after its reactivation, in these last three months they are spending around 100 dollars per person, leaving a good economic spill in the destination, between tours, restaurants, and souvenirs.
