Mazatlan on World Health and Physical Activity Day, DIF carries out the first Xtreme Intermunicipal Rally

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Within the framework of the World Health and Physical Activation Day, the Government of Mazatlán headed by Mayor Benítez Torres , through DIF Mazatlán, held the first Xtreme Rally that brought together different para-municipal and City Council addresses.

At the formal event, Mrs. Gabriela Peña Chico, president of DIF Mazatlán, commented that this event seeks to promote a healthy lifestyle and family life.

“We seek to promote sports, good nutrition, physical activity and, above all, this environment that we all have here right now, of coexistence and family unity, because sports and physical activity also lead to that, to live together as a family, to rescue the values ​​of the family”.

The circuit was held in Rancho El Palomo where the participants had to overcome different dynamics such as going through logs, mud, rocks, going up and down hills, and thus, after a long journey and with excellent participation, first place went to the Public Security team, in second place was Sistema DIF Mazatlán, and the third place went to the team of the Municipal Sports Institute.

Among the sponsors of the event were Mazatlán FC, Venados de Mazatlán, La Puntilla Restaurant, Integral Health Life Clinic, Autonomous University of Durango, TVP, Gonzalez Bakery, Tostadas and El Pollas tacos.
