Some merchants have shown their disagreement regarding some alleged permits that the municipal agency has issued to said merchants

Mazatlan, Sinaloa. – The Senior Official of the Mazatlan City Council, Nayla Adilene Velarde Narváez, clarified to the beach vendors that her unit does not issue permits in the maritime zone or to foreign merchants, nor is it tolerated because it is not the responsibility of her management.

This is due to the fact that some vendors have shown their disagreement with respect to some alleged permits that the municipal agency has issued to said merchants.

“I want to clarify or deny the fact that there is a permit in the beach area, because I cannot issue in the beach area, I do not have the format, those permits are issued directly by Semarnat, which is the office in charge of federal permits” , he indicated.

Otherwise, said Velarde Narváez, they argue that there are 6 unions with more than 800 members, but there are also complaints from them in the sense that there is a duplication of badges, so they could also be confused with tolerated.

The municipal official maintained that as a government they will not allow tolerated vendors, neither she nor the mayor, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, and as for the inspectors if it is discovered that they allow tolerated vendors, they are discharged right there.

Again he clarified that as a municipality you cannot allow tolerated vendors because the work area is a federal zone.
