Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The Secretary of Health in Sinaloa, Héctor Melesio Cuén Ojeda, called on those who are going to go out to enjoy Holy Week and even more so if they go to the beaches, to continue using the face mask.

The state official stressed that it is important to remember that there were many deaths from COVID-19, and everything took a toll because some did not use the face mask and the virus began to spread.

“Those people who have a non-infectious, chronic degenerative problem should also use it, and those people who love their mother, who love their grandmother, who love their children, should still continue using it,” he said.

Cuén Ojeda reported that Coepriss has already carried out an analysis of the conditions of the beaches in the state, in order to make them safe for visitors, ensuring that they are free of viruses to use them.

Given this, the state official indicated that it must be taken into account that there are still people infected, and it is important to continue using the face mask wherever it is.
