With donations obtained will promote attention to people who were left with the consequences of COVID and in others allocate it to dental operations for the sick.

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Yes, it is up to you to support the associations of Friendly Hands for Disability and Parents and Compadres IAP, today there is an opportunity since from this month of April to June, there will be a  rounding-up leftover change campaign in Oxxo stores when purchasing a product since a single peso or cents is helps.

Adriana Maldonado, treasurer of Padres y Compadres, as well as María Ávila Pérez, president of Manos Amigas por la Discabilidad, indicated that with how little or how much they contribute at this time, they will provide important oxygen to meet the needs of people who suffer from a brain problem or paralysis.

“It is a tool, it is a means so that at the time of your purchase those left over cents that manage to round up reach the institutions, since well, perhaps as citizens it is difficult to be able to make that donation of cents, but the Oxxo is a means. Well, let it be understood that the social problem of disability is growing, let it not be thought that because we are organizations that attend to disabilities, that the problem is solved, quite the opposite”.

Rita Correa, a member of Padres y Compadres and Carolina Hernández, asked society to be confident that the resource they provide will reach their hands, and those resources will be used to serve people with COVID-19 consequences even now.

“Unless they know that we have a son with a disability, and that is why we are looking for them, cashiers, to ask for rounding up extra left over change, dont say no, we comment on it because it is a bit difficult for them to remember. We are going to open a space for people with consequences of COVID-19, that is, all people who were left with a pulmonary, emotional, and physical effects.”

They indicated that this rounding-up leftover change campaign involves the two groups, for which the total accumulated during these months will be distributed equally.
