Cosala, Sinaloa. _ To have fun and enjoy the Carnival of Cosalá with the family, the Secretary of Tourism of Sinaloa, Rosario Torres Noriega, invited this Saturday night during the coronation of queens and kings of the great party that this year has the motto “Encounter of two worlds”.
In an atmosphere of hubbub due to the resumption of the carnival festivities suspended the previous year due to the pandemic, Torres Noriega shared with the Cosaltecos the greeting of the Governor of Sinaloa, Rubén Rocha Moya, and expressed the commitment to continue transforming the Magical Towns of the state.
The Secretary of Tourism stressed that the carnival is an expression of the traditions, history and culture of each place where it is celebrated.
“If Cosalá has something, it is the combination of these three factors, in addition to the added value of its people, noble and hard-working, which makes this place an enigmatic and attractive space that I really enjoy when I have the opportunity to visit it, because they make me feel like home,” he said.
In the massive act, the head of SECTUR – Sinaloa, crowned Airán Madueño Rocha, Queen of the Floral Games.
The state official congratulated the authorities of Cosalá, the organizers of the Carnival, the artists, all the Cosaltecos and visitors, because without their support, work, and participation, the celebration of the long-awaited popular festival would not have been possible.
In the event they also received their royal attributes: Dixia Aragón Martínez and Eduardo Santana, absolute sovereigns of the Carnival “Encounter of two worlds”, and the children’s kings Daniela Monserrat Cepeda and Jesús Iván López. The Queen of the LGBT Movement 2022, Conny Trujillo, was also presented.
During the coronation, the President of Cosalá, Carla Corrales, was accompanied by Deputy Juan Carlos Patrón; the Municipal President of Elota, Ana Karen Val; the Mayor of San Ignacio, Octavio Bastidas; the Mayor of El Rosario, Claudia Valdez and José Ángel Tostado, director of the Institute of Culture, Tourism and Art of Mazatlán.
