Businessman Guillermo Romero Rodríguez laid the first stone of Galerna Residencial and opened a new restaurant called Abadía, on Camarón Sábalo avenue.
MAZATLAN. – The growth that the port of Mazatlan has had in recent years has been important, not only in terms of hotels or condominiums but also in housing.
The first stone of Galerna Residencial was laid today with an investment of 500 million pesos, an interesting and attractive project that will add to the real estate boom in the city.
The event was led by businessmen and investors Guillermo Romero Rodríguez and Javier Vázquez, as well as the presence of the municipal president. Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres highlighted the importance of the growth of the destination and assured that Mazatlan has guaranteed drinking water for 50 years.
“To the businessmen, businesswomen, my role is to help them successfully navigate their projects, here we are allies of businessmen and citizens in general,” said Benítez Torres.
The mayor of Mazatlan indicated that there is the possibility of building a street that connects directly to the new residential area so that vehicular traffic is more fluid.
Galerna Residencial is located in the fastest-growing housing area in the north of Mazatlan, and the Operadora Moresa company is in charge of its construction, which includes 100 homes, the sale of 310 lots, and a shopping center.

“Abadía” arrives in Mazatlan with its gastronomic proposal
In turn, the inauguration of the Abadía restaurant was also carried out, which is located next to the Monte-Carlo Casino on Camarón Sábalo avenue, in the heart of the Golden Zone.
The national director of Food and Beverages of Corporativo Euromex, Mónica Pestarino Meza, said that the menu is made up of great dishes of modern and Mediterranean cuisine that include seafood, meat, fish, and salads.
The project is aimed at the entire public, both locals and visitors, and a family atmosphere is guaranteed.
«Abadía» is generating a total of 60 jobs.
The restaurant will open from Monday to Sunday with hours from 9:00 a.m. to 01:30 a.m., where compliance with all health protocols is guaranteed.
