Culiacán, Sinaloa.- On his first visit to Culiacán, the Polish ambassador to Mexico, Maciej Zietara, met this Wednesday with Governor Rubén Rocha Moya, with whom he discussed the possibilities of cooperation on two specific issues, such as agricultural development and green technologies, which represent an interesting offer that this European country can share with Sinaloa.
During the meeting, the ambassador told Governor Rocha Moya that these practices are being successfully developed in his country, and offered Poland’s experience to share with Sinaloan producers.
Gathered in the office of the government palace, both discussed other topics of general interest, such as the war between Russia and Ukraine, a phenomenon that Poland does not escape because due to its proximity to Ukraine, it has become the main country of refugees seeking to leave this country that has been invaded by Russian military forces for more than 25 days.
After the meeting with President Rubén Rocha, the Polish diplomat met with the Secretary of Welfare and Sustainable Development, Ruth Díaz Gurría, with whom he discussed the sustainable development projects being carried out in that country, and they agreed to hold meetings via zoom with sustainable Polish companies and Sinaloan businessmen, who will also be invited to the Secretary of Economy, Javier Gaxiola Coppel, and some mayors who run eminently agricultural municipalities.
Finally, Ambassador Maciej Zietara toured the city, which he said was amazed, and visited the Botanical Garden to listen to an ensemble by the Sinaloa Symphony Orchestra of the Arts, which, in honor of the illustrious visitor, performed some symphonies of Polish composers, starting with the most outstanding Frédéric Chopin, without missing Czeslaw Niemen and Karol Szymanowski.
