MAZATLAN. – The Mazatlan Volunteer Firefighters Corporation will have new elements in the coming months, since yesterday they started their training academy for new applicants to be part of this body of work.

Commander Edgar Enrique Peinado Beltrán announced that the 2022 Firefighters Academy will have 12 recruits who will be trained against fires, organization, rescue and other types of emergencies.

The training will be for 6 months, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Peinado Beltrán stated that 35 people were the ones who took the documentation, but after several tests only 12 students were chosen, but they did not rule out the opening of a new stage to give the rest of the people an opportunity.

He added that in the previous call 12 elements entered to be trained to be firefighters, but only 10 people successfully completed the course.
