Cosalá announces its Carnival 2022 will take place March 27 to the 28th

COSALÁ.- The Magical Town of Cosalá announced its Carnival, under the name of “Encounter of two Worlds”, which will take place from March 25 to 27, continuing with the carnivals throughout Sinaloa.

This local festival is reactivated after the Covid-19 pandemic and will be enlivened on March 26 by Sonora Dinamita, a Colombian cumbia group and performers of songs such as “Que bello”, “Escándalo”, “El Viejo del Sombrerón” , and many more.

José Manuel Cebreros, director of Tourism of Cosalá, expressed that there will be a series of traditional activities for locals and tourists, where all the sanitary protocols will be implemented.

He explained that on Friday the 25th they will begin with string and symphonic activities, in the Luis Pérez Meza Alley, starting at 6:30 p.m., inaugurating the Cosalteca party.

On March 26, the queens’ coronation festival will also begin at 6:30 p.m., which will be enlivened with a show with guest dancers, the Sonora Dinamita, and other artists.

On Sunday the 27th, a parade will go through the streets of the Magical Town, where dancers, colorful floats, the queens will parade, giving the “short length” to all attendees.

He pointed out that the expectations of visitors are high, especially in the face of the epidemiological traffic lights that turned Sinaloa green.
