MAZATLAN. – The mayor of Mazatlán Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres will take advantage of the fact that former Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel is officially the ambassador of Mexico in Spain to attract tourism from Europe.

After his meeting with Ordaz Coppel, the municipal president pointed out that in addition to congratulating him on his new position, he shared his wishes to transform the port and thus make it the best destination in Mexico.

“What we know least about is grief, and you already know what we want in Mazatlan, European and business tourism. We made compromises for the good of the city,” she expressed.

He believes that there is a good opportunity for the port, now that Ordaz Coppel is in one of the most important embassies for Mexico in the world due to its political and economic situation.

Are there differences? Benítez Torres explained that today more than ever their friendship at the best moment because together they transformed and improved Mazatlán with visionary projects.

“We endorse the friendship and we endorse the work that we will do together from now on.”

It is not the first time that the mayor shares his intention to attract European tourism. On several occasions, the mayor has revealed that this is one of his wishes.
