The Mazatlán Food Bank seeks to cover the food needs of nearly 12,000 people in southern Sinaloa, more when the rates of beneficiaries have increased, and donations have decreased, therefore, since this Friday It begins with the “Milk Mustaches” campaign.

The president of the BAMX board of trustees assures that it is increasingly difficult to obtain donations from large companies and from citizens themselves, due to the fiscal locks and cumbersome procedures to which they have been subjected, so right now what is needed is food. dry like rice, beans, plus milk.

“It consists in that, whoever wants to take milk to donate, do it in the collection centers that we are going to have or if not, on the same day of April 5, then they come to make the donation, that here we are going to be waiting to receive them and to thank them for it, Tetrapak milk so that it can last us longer, because the idea is to be able to go further”.

The campaign with which it seeks to cover the need for food will be in force from this Friday, March 04, to April 05, with which it seeks to collect five thousand liters of milk in Tetrapak containers, from contributions from society, plus those who join companies, seeking to exceed goals established in previous years where 11 thousand liters of dairy were collected.

The support of civil society, businessmen, organizations, governments, institutions, and the media is requested, participate actively, by donating liters of milk in Tetrapack presentation and taking it on the day of the event.
