Mazatlan’s Central de Autobuses expects a greater influx for the Carnival

The venue expects an increase in the influx from February 24, the day that the Carnival will begin

Mazatlan, Sinaloa. – The Mazatlán Bus Station has had a normal flow of visitors during the course of the month of February since it does not represent a month with much tourism for Mazatlán despite having some visitors who have maintained stable sales.

“That begins to manifest itself as of Thursday, for the moment we are in a normal operation, the days of Carnival there is a tendency of an increase of probably ten percent in terms of departures” reported Álvaro Peña Torres, Manager of the Central of buses.

He assured that the tickets for Carnival are not set aside in advance, especially with the uncertainty that existed regarding the subject, so the true figures will be known during these same days, with expectations that they will increase since during the month of February remained within the 150 daily runs.

The states that visit the port the most, and from which an influx is expected, are from Mexico City, Aguascalientes, Durango, Chihuahua, and Baja California, and within the state of Culiacán and Los Mochis.

He stressed that within the Central they continue to operate with strict health protocols, such as gel application, temperature taking, healthy distance, and a Covid room that is used in case of having a user who presents any symptoms.
