Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Two traffic agents are investigated for qualifying a motorist with only a minor infraction, apparently drunk, who drove along a section of the Malecón bike path last Thursday.
The secretary of the City Council, Édgar González Zataráin, explained that the vehicle was stopped and the infraction was issued.
“ I want to tell you that the transit officer is also being investigated because they did not arrest the person for the damage to the Malecón, but rather a simple infraction, there is a broader investigation on the Transit elements, they are two elements that have been suspended during his investigation, ”he said.
The municipal official said that instead of arresting them, this time a thorough investigation of their actions was opened.
