The fifth winter storm of the season affects northwestern Mexico and will continue to drive unstable weather for the next few days.
Sinaloa.- Cloudy sky for most of the day with a probability of showers, this is how the weather arrived this Wednesday, February 2, in the state of Sinaloa due to the activation of the fifth winter storm of the season, which affects the northwest of the country.
The conditions will be divided in the state since while in the northern zone the cloudy and humid environment prevails, with the record of drizzles shortly before 5:30 in the morning, in the central and southern zone, cold is registered with up to 8 degrees Celsius in Navolato and Culiacán.

The National Meteorological Service highlights that the morning environment will be cold with frost at dawn and conditions for sleet or snow to fall in mountainous areas of the region; however, at noon, temperate weather will remain with west and southwest winds of 15 to 30 km/h in the region, in addition to gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour in Sinaloa.
The forecast of showers for today, mostly in the north of Sinaloa, is expected with accumulations of 5 to 25 millimeters, with dense clouds that are noticeable at dawn in areas of Los Mochis, Choix, El Fuerte, Guasave and Sinaloa municipality.
The Weather Channel, for its part, marked the lowest temperatures in Sinaloa at 5:45 a.m. in: Navolato 8º; Culiacan 10th; Guasave and Guamuchil 12th; Mocorito 13º; Sinaloa, Los Mochis and Mazatlan 14th; Choix 15º and El Fuerte 16 degrees centigrade.
