Although it has not yet been defined whether there will be a celebration of the International Carnival of Mazatlan, merchants and street vendors have approached the Municipal Government in search of permits to offer their products during the party, assured Nayla Velarde Narváez.


The Senior Official of the City Council commented that the interested parties are representatives of establishments seeking permits for the sale of alcohol, as well as street vendors.


«All the businesses that we have here in Mazatlán, street vendors, are getting closer; In fact, they go directly to the Subdirectorate of Commerce directly, it is not up to the Official Office, they go to the Subdirectorate of Commerce, they approach Mejía and yes, there are too many street vendors who are approaching to be able to be in what is Olas Altas. or in the area they designate.


The official recalled that the capacity in the areas where the event takes place will be considered at 60 percent, or in her case, it will depend on the color of the Epidemiological Traffic Light that Mazatlán has.


Velarde Narváez reiterated that although nothing has been decided yet, the work for the celebration of the Carnival is advancing.
